ORGANIC APPLE VINEGAR FROM PALILULA WON A PRIZE AT THE INTERNATIONAL FAIR

At the recently finished 35. International food, drinks and equipment fair `ETNO` in Belgrade, KALMODJUR enterprise, member of the Society for organic foods - `Place of healthy life` , Palilula Municipality, is the winner of the prize- certificate `ETNO FOOD 2008- SERBIAN BRAND`. This stands for the biggest prize of the Fair. The prize was given for organic apple vinegar that was made of squeezing half wild apple types.During this prestige Fair manifestation in the organization of Department for agriculture and village development of the City of Nis, seven participants took part from Nis territory, from all five Nis municipalities:

ELECTRICITY PROBLEM

In the recent few days Palilula Municipality has faced the problem of lacking electricity. In certain parts of the Municipal area of Palilula the citizens did not have electricity for more than 36 hours. It was especially bad situation for the old, the disabled but also made the work in educational institutions impossible in the afternoon hours. The regular work and activities of Palilula Municipality was also blocked in this way. The management of the Municipality contacted the authorities of E.D. Jugoistok - `Elektrodistribucija` Nis and demanded the urgent solving of this problem.

The president of the region for Society of physics of Serbia, PhD Goran Djordjevic and the president of Palilula Municipality, PhD Igor Novakovic signed the Protocol on cooperation. This form of partnership is the result of number of months activities of local self government on the connection of scientific potentials and educational institutions and organizations in Palilula, due to Strategic plan of development of Palilula Municipality - emphasized the president of the Municipality PhD Igor Novakovic.
